Ethics is how we behave with other people and how to control with their morals and how to make the right decisions. In our country there are many ethical behavior's, like you must pray and mention god at every time in sadness and happiness, we must obey our parents in everything they say, in our religion and culture the ethical behavior is important.

Moral relativists depends on our live, in our habits or tradition of our culture this is how we live, people must have the moral relativists to communicate and behave with each other, they can be morals and their actions they must be patient in their live like they must follow their tradition in some things that will help him in his lifetime, people should not control or discriminate other culture's because this is their morals in treating with people, to grow in our life we must learn how to deal with other cultures.

Volunteering in ZHO helped me to think correctly. before I was scared from people with special needs and I don’t know how to communicate with them, or how to treat them. but now I learned that they are the same and I knew how to communicate with them.

Zayed Higher Organization for

Humanitarian Care and Special Needs

Zayed Higher Organization for Humanitarian Care and Special Needs is an independent government organization. It offers social and humanitarian services to people with special needs in Abu Dhabi to support and strengthen their position as active members of the society.

We as HCT students had the opportunity to visit the center to see and find out more about the educational programs and services that they provide for the members in the organization. The center was very well organized that each age group. I was surprised to see some of the students in the center were wrapping books and other talented students were working on the computer using Microsoft word, power point, and excel in entering data into these documents. In addition, the students were making hand crafts with the ribbons of the UAE flag. They make small objects such as bracelets, mobile hangers and car stickers. I was amazed that they were able to do work perfectly fine without any help from their teacher.

I had a great time with the students in the Zayed Higher Organization for Humanitarian Care and Special Needs. The students were cooperative and positive. Throughout my visits to the center, I found out that the center provides rehabilitation and therapeutic services to support individuals with special needs. They use the best practices to take care during the rehabilitation time. It was a great experience for me that I would really like to do it again if I had the chance.

Reflective Writing 1

            
             Three months ago, I had a situation that made me choose sides between two of my friends. The situation was that I had to choose between two friends because of a fight they had about a girl. My friends are Ahmed and Mohammed.            The problem started a month before they had the fight. It all started with a girl that they both met online in social networking website. The girl played them both but they didn’t know that she was talking to both of them. One day I was with Ahmed and we went to the desert as we were there his girlfriend told him that she needs a new blackberry and she wants it as a gift. My friend knew that she was playing him so he told her to go to hell and he will not get her a gift. So the girl was disappointed and angry because she thought that she could take at least a gift from him because once on his birthday she got him a watch. The girl called her second boyfriend and lied to him and told him that a boy called her and he threaten her if she won’t go out with him she’ll tell her father, and she gave him his number. When we decided to go home Mohammed called Ahmed he wants to talk to him. When Mohammed arrived he was shouting and they were about to fight. 5 minutes later I asked them what is the problem and I told Mohammed that she’s only a girl and she lied to you he didn’t believe neither me nor Ahmed so we stopped being friends from then.
I made that decision because I was very angry that he would believe a random girl not me. I still support my choice and what I did because it’s the least thing that he would do is to believe me and Ahmed not a random lying girl. The dilemma in that situation was that I either choose to be with Ahmed’s side or Mohammed. In 5 years I won’t regret the choice I made because it was the right one.
Referring to Kohlberg’s Stages of Moral Development it was to do the right thing, and I think that I did the right thing because Ahmed didn’t do anything wrong to Mohammed.
